Our Mission
The Collective empowers and enables all people touched by dementia to live fully, thrive, and contribute to the positive shift towards a normalized and supported dementia care culture.
The Creative Dementia Collective’s Vision
We envision a future where people living with dementia can thrive right up until the end of life. Their loved ones feel nourished, supported, and informed every step of the way. Our reach expands into all areas of the globe and makes a lasting impact that helps shed the stigma of aging, and those living with dementia.
Our vision includes empowering other millennials to stewardship and to participate in the shift of dementia de-stigmatization; to energize them to bring fresh ideas and innovation to dementia care.
The Creative Dementia Collective believes in diversity, equity, & inclusion
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion or belief, national origin, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, status as a person with a disability, or veteran status.
We take action as allies and advocates both internally and within our communities.
We believe people living with dementia are people first.
We believe access to mental healthcare is a fundamental right.
We believe Black Lives Matter.
We believe science is real.
We acknowledge that The Collective is headquartered on the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish People past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
